Your adventure begins in Tanzania’s biggest breeding site of the lesser flamingoes Lake Natron. Then to the fable Serengeti to deliver incredible sightings of big game. Ngorongoro’s rich grass plains offer a chance to see the black rhino. Our last stop will be Tarangire National Park to experience a search for the legendary tree-climbing lions and amazing birdlife here.

You leave Arusha after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Lake Natron, the least visited area on the itinerary but one capable of delivering legendary landscape. Home to East Africa’s biggest breeding site of the lesser flamingoes and water birds, check into your accommodation Africa safari camp. After settling in, you will be accompanied by a local guide from the area to do some of the activities on offer Maasai village visit, waterfall, Lake for the flamingoes sighting, and the vultures nesting site. Your accommodation Africa safari camp Lake Natron is a luxury safari lodge, located between the most important safari parks in northern Tanzania. It’s a perfect base for visiting the most important breeding site in the world for Lesser Flamingos to discover the different salt and soda lakes, or simply immerse into the Maasai culture.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through Kleins Camp gate. Afterwards, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world – Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary, depending on rainfall, the spectacular crossings of the Mara River can begin as early as June or as late as August. The wildebeest and zebras must survive the Nile crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing the lions waiting on the other side. This time of the year game viewing is sensational, impressive, and dramatic. Our camp Kenzan migration camp is in the heart of it all, which allows movement to explore the great migration and the big cat’s territories.

Rise early for a morning game drive along the Mara River. It is truly an amazing experience to see all those hoofed mammals in search of water and greener pastures, followed by iconic predators. A journey is full of danger where only the strongest survive. You may also see hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and if you are lucky the endangered black rhino. After the afternoon game drive, you head back to Kenzan migration camp for dinner and overnight.

Depart this morning for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, aardvarks, pangolins and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Heritage Luxury camp.

Leaving Serengeti, you gain altitude as you are driven east and into the Ngorongoro conservation area, a packed lunch sustains you on the way, and as you proceed with your game viewing in Serengeti ticking off your bucket list up to around fourteen hours, you will enjoy your lunch in the bush with your guide before crossing to the Ngorongoro and proceed to your lodge. Your accommodation Rhino Lodge, situated only a few hundred meters from the crater rim, offers a perfect base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and its surroundings.

After early breakfast around 05:50 am, descend to the crater at 06 am for a 6-7hrs game drive, with picnic lunch packed safely for you, on the lookout for Ngorongoro’s famous Big 5 as well as other animals ranging from hippos, jackals, birds to hyenas. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Late afternoon you leave the crater, and head to Lake Burunge tented lodge for dinner, and overnight
