Meet on arrival drive to Tarangire National Park, which is one of the lesser-known game reserves in Tanzania for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a park which offers some excellent sights. The park boasts over 500 species of birds, including some species endemic to Tanzania Generally in the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. Here you will see the big heads of Elephants; the landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.
