Your guide will meet you at the hotel or the airport and give you a safari briefing. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park for some amazing game viewing. The game in this beautiful national park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devoted birder (and even the most reluctant) appreciate them. The park is home to up to 2,500 elephants which can be seen looking for underground water in the dry riverbeds during the dry season. You will also see migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and other incredible sightings like lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, baboon, and waterbuck. The park’s scenery is amazing, a landscape dotted with huge baobab trees and the meandering life-giving Tarangire River. It offers excellent game viewing during the dry season (June to October) when the migratory wildebeest and zebra are around. Later in the evening, we leave the park and drive to Nsya Lodge and Campsite.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then the heart of the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park, where you might see elephants, lions, hippos, giraffes, and buffaloes to mention a few. Dinner and overnight at Public Campsite in Serengeti

After breakfast leaves the camp, and explore the Namiri plains for its great sightings of a cheetah while also looking for the big pride of lions found in this area. It’s one place in Serengeti where if you are lucky, you might see cheetah hunting. Other sightings here might be jackals, hyenas and Kori bustards. Stop under an acacia tree and enjoy your mouth-watering lunch before crossing to the Ngorongoro conservation. Visit the Maasai village and head to the Simba Campsite for Dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon transfer back to Arusha.
